When a loved one passes away and you find out the cruelest truth of them, is it wrong to be angry and disappointed with them even after the fact? Is it shameful to feel guilty and helpless? Is it wrong to hurt even worse than the day you know you lost them forever? I’ll never have an answer and I’ll never move past that. I’ll never move past the fact that I couldn’t change it, that I couldn’t save them. And that is the crueler than any truth.
